My husband and I are so fat and happy that we outgrew our winter coats, which are pretty much a necessity in Chicago and Indianapolis. We’ll be taking our old coats to Plato’s Closet to try and recoop some of the money spent on new coats, but we’ll probably only get enough money to go to through the drive-thru for dinner.
When I give Christmas presents, I try to think really hard about what the person uses every day and get something that compliments that or maybe even replace it with a newer model. I like to know that my gifts are being used and appreciated and aren’t just being given just to be given. What a waste of money!
This year, I’m going to give Personalized Flash Drives to a handful of friends because they are total technies and I love and use my flash drive so much I think everyone should have one.

Vacations are absolutely critical to my existence. I wouldn’t be able to go to work every day without the prospect of a vacation in my future. Being a budget conscious traveler means that cheap holidays to Crete really pique my interest and Holiday Hyper Mart is just the travel company to offer package deals, last minute bargains, and cheap flights to destinations world-wide.
Not only is their website user friendly with representatives ready to offer help at any time, I love that they include the weather for every destination. Whenever I want to travel, the first question I ask is “what’s the weather like this time of year?”
Cheap nylons forced me to make another trip to TJ Maxx today. I bought new black hose and made a b-line for the bathroom so I could make the switch. Classy.
I’m slightly addicted to blogging and am always fiddling with my sites adding free Blog Stuff like widgets and quizzes. Just Say Hi is the site I go to for all my free blog stuff and I’m never disappointed by the selection.
My current favorite is blog bumpers stickers. They are just witty little images to add to your blog’s sidebar to amuse your readers and say a little something about your personality. Everything on the site is fun and free and make blogging interesting.
Now, if only I could get the sushi bumper sticker to say “this blogger is addicted to (grocery store) sushi.”
Okay, so maybe cheap nylons from TJ Maxx isn’t the way to go. I stuck my finger through two pairs while getting ready for work this morning, and the third pair had a run in it from the buckle on my shoe before I hit the elevator.
