PS - Broke as a Spoke now has a Facebook page! Check it out!

I’m a bigger sucker for the little holidays and giving token gifts. I enjoy Valentine’s Day, Easter, and Halloween much more than I do Christmas. They aren’t as stressful because the expectations aren’t as high.
My husband and I exchange Easter Basket’s every year, and I love to get him little things besides candy, which is why I turn to Coupon Chief for coupons to some of his favorite stores.
Target coupons are always great for DVDs, small electronics, and free shipping! I use a Target coupon code every time I order online, thanks to Coupon Chief.
My husband loves new clothes, and a GAP coupon would come in handy to buy a few new tshirts and spring clothes to put in his basket. I could also use a GAP discount on my Easter dress!
Stuff your Easter baskets full of extra goodies this spring by using Coupon Chief!

Target and Costco are two of our biggest downfalls. It’s just so fun to shop at both places!
Our big purchase today was a humidifier. The apartment is so dry that my husband keeps getting nose bleeds, the dog looks like he has dandruf, and my lips are chapped. We’re a motley crew.
Direct Advertising -
February 23, 2008
I’m very pleased that more and more advertisers have been contacting me directly to advertise on my websites, rather than going through some of the services I use, who subsequently take a portion of the profits.
I’ve been contacted by clothing and lingerie stores, flower shops, fellow bloggers, and pet shops. All have worked well on the blogs they have been published on and I’m confident that the advertisers have profited from my work.
I’d be happy to accommodate any advertiser requests and am willing to negotiate prices!

My husband and I were so excited to buy a new dryer this morning. We have a washer and dryer already, but the dryer is gas and our hookup is electric. We’ll be donating our gas dryer to the local woman’s shelter to make room for our new electric dryer!
I never pictured myself working a dirty job, but that’s exactly what I did for a year. I was an executive assistant at a construction company; copying engineering plans, visiting jobsites, and wearing a helmet. All the superintendents and project managers were super nice, and I learned a lot about the industry and the tolls they used.
I frequently saw Milwaukee Portable Generators out at jobsites when utilities weren’t yet hooked up and the job trailer needed to be fully functioning. The guys chose Milwaukee portable generators because they had extra large gas tanks, were durable, and had full GFCI protection. The guys were hard on their tools, but the Milwaukee generators went from job to job, enduring the elements and abuse.
Ohio Power Tool carries a variety of Milwaukee portable generators, from 8 to 13 HP, as well as saws, hammers, drills and screwdrivers. Their power tool blog is a favorite of construction professionals and they have 25 years of power tool sales, service, and rental experience, and can help choose the right tool for any job.
It paid off getting down and dirty with the guys for a while. Look how much I know about power tools!

I work out in the sticks, so I don’t pass any fast food chains or Starbucks on the way to work…except McDonald’s. I need to nip by vanilla iced coffee habit in the bud before it gets out of hand. If you see a $4 McDonald’s purchase listed, make sure to berate me for ordering an iced coffee and a bacon, egg, and cheese bagel.
