  • $135 ING
  • $20 gas
  • $203 Costco
  • $34 Sprint
  • $39 AT&T
  • $32 vet
  • $25 Target
  • $31 oil change
  • $75 grocery

I’ve been looking for a Wii Fit for about two months. I head to Target every Sunday when they get their shipments and have always come up empty handed. While strolling through Costco this week, I walked past an entire pallet of Wii Fit and had to do a double take. I couldn’t believe they had so many of them and that they were only $75!

It goes without saying that I nabbed one, plus lots of water, salad, fish, and steak to keep up with Atkins. 12 lbs down in just under a month!

Better than trinkets and trash - January 27, 2009 by Corrin

I work in marketing, so trinkets and trash are my business. I’m always happy when a client decides to have something custom embroidered instead of screen printed, because I think it looks so much more professional and of better quality.

threadsmith.com is a great place to get shirts, bags, hats and more custom embroidered. They are especially great because there are no minimum order requirements, designs and logs are quick and easy to upload, they carry loads of brand name customizable items. Not to mention the volume discount program where you can save 5-25% on orders of 5 or more.

Custom embroidery isn’t just good for clients and corporations. It’s perfect for family reunions, clubs and teams, and because there’s no minimum order, new babies, graduations, and other special occasions!

January 26 thru 27 - January 27, 2009 by Corrin

We haven’t spent any money the last two days, and we actually had $647 come to us!

My husband’s employer was recently investigated by the department of labor and he received a check for back wages completely out of the blue. He works as a paramedic, which means 24 hour shifts and per call pay, and apparently wages weren’t being properly calculated for quite some time, but his employer is only obligated to pay the back wages for the past year.

But we’ll take it! It’s enough to pay off a small loan we’ve been carrying for about a year.

Renters - January 26, 2009 by Corrin

We’ve officially resigned our lease for another year, which would be okay if we were moving somewhere new and fascinating, maybe looking to rent ukraine. Someplace we’ve never been and that is an adventure.

Instead, we’re in Indiana for another year. Working and saving to move someplace warmer.
