PS - Broke as a Spoke now has a Facebook page! Check it out!
Cold, flu, and allergies have been a plague on this house since Christmas. The worst of it isn’t the running nose or sneezing, it’s the congestion and sinus pressure which inevitably causes horrible headaches and much whining and complaining.
79% of Americans don’t know that sinus pressure caused by nasal inflammation is a potential cause of congestion, which means they probably aren’t taking the right medication to alleviate their symptoms.
Wrong medications mean wasted money and far too much time spent feeling cruddy.
You want to make sure you’re spending your money on something that works, and Advil products are a staple in our medicine cabinet for that very reason. The new Advil Congestion Relief treats the real problem, which for us, is sinus pressure, congestion, and headaches caused by nasal swelling and inflammation.
Advil Congestion Relief is available at major retailers nationwide (Psst…if you’re a couponer, I find the best prices on Advil at CVS) and just 1 tablet every 4 hours can alleviate symptoms.
Here’s to hoping everyone is happy and healthy!
I was provided Advil Congestion Relief information, gratis samples, and coupons by Phizer Consumer Healthcare. As always, all opinions are 100% my own. Please see my site policy with any questions.

I sorted the linen closet a few weeks ago, and we are approaching hoarder status on many items, so I haven’t been to CVS.
What you see in the picture is for two people and doesn’t incude medicine, deoderant, razors, or toothpaste, which are in bins in the closet. While I’m happy that most items were purchased for a song, there’s no need to buy any more for a very long time.
This week, I largely stayed away from the personal items and picked up a few things.
