Daily Dollars – February 19 thru 25 - February 25, 2012

So often I blog about my wants and my wish-list that I decided to take some time and share Things I Enjoy: Nonconsumer Goods Edition. If you want to take your mind off money, I’d love if you’d read and comment!

If you want to talk about money, here’s where mine went this week. How about you?

  • $10 Starbucks GC
  • $21 lunch with friends
  • $25 Flickr subscription
  • $44 grocery

Daily Dollars – February 12 thru 18 - February 18, 2012

Daily DollarsAll in all, a good week.

I have a fridge full of fruits and veggies (Seriously, you cannot beat Costco for great organics!), some new neon shoes ($10 at Target!), and I can do anything with a tank full of gas and an internet connection.

  • $36 internet
  • $33 gas
  • $80 Costco
  • $42 Target

How was your week?

Daily Dollars – February 5 thru 11 - February 11, 2012

Ever get so focused on one part of your budget that another gets out of control? I’ve been so preoccupied on paying down a specific bill that I hadn’t even noticed that I blew through my grocery budget within the first ten days of the month. Looks like I’ll be digging deep in the pantry!

  • $66 grocery
  • $78 grocery
  • $78 DSW
  • $85 Zappos
  • $12 Bluehost
  • $28 Target
  • $50 CVS

What did you spend your money on this week? Anything you regret?

Daily Dollars – January 29 thru February 4 - February 4, 2012

These weeks are flying by! Kinda like the money is flying out of my checking account.

  • $925 rent
  • $77 Sprint
  • $68 utilities
  • $36 Time Warner
  • $600 Chase
  • $90 State Farm – car insurance
  • $165 Sallie Mae
  • $490 car payment
  • $50 taxes
  • $102 Costco
  • $18 Pei Wei – lunch with coworkers
  • $15 Bircbox

Where’d you spend your money this week?

Daily Dollars – January 22 thru 28 - January 28, 2012

I tried to spend money today. I stopped at three different stores in search of new shoes and a few spring shirts but didn’t find anything splurge-worthy. So unlike me. Anytime I have money to spend, I can’t find a single thing to buy. Whenever I’m flat broke, everything I come across is just what I was looking for.

  • $10 Post Office
  • $29 gas
  • $50 grocery
  • $3 Teux Deux iPhone app

How was your week? Where did you spend your money?

Daily Dollars – January 15 – 21 - January 21, 2012

Good morning! Did you have a good week? Where did you spend your money?

I’m super excited to be giving my personal blog a facelift and then I’ll be making some changes over here! What would you like to see?

Daily Dollars – January 8 thru 14 - January 14, 2012

Yeah! We made it through another week and I, for one, couldn’t be happier. Has 2012 been exhausting for everyone?

  • $29 gas
  • $49 Target
  • $39 DSW
  • $82 Costco

I’m on a crazy paleo diet and Costco has been a dream when it comes to fresh fruits, veggies, meat, and seafood. I’m able to more easily portion and freeze meals and I’m saving 30% on average compared to the grocery store. If I ever get my act together, I’ll be visiting the local farmers market for my fruits and veggies, but until then viva la Costco!

Where did you spend your money this week?
