Today is the big day. The new online company store that I’ve been working on for the past two months is unveiled at the company holiday party tonight. Every employee is getting a $50 coupon to purchase Port Authority clothing, hats, tote bags, and more, all embroidered with the company logo.
Selfishly, it stops people from coming to me every time they want a company t-shirt or hat. Everyone is now able to go online, pick exactly what color and size they want, and use their own credit card to make a purchase.
Here’s to hoping the system doesn’t crash on Monday when 200 employees try to use their coupon code at the same time!
