Happy New Year! Back in November, I set December’s paid blogging goal at $400 (down from $1,500 and $1,000 in October and November) and I barely squeaked by.

Since the steep decline in earnings, I have to constantly remind myself that this money is extra money, not earnings I should be basing our household budget on. It’s money to save and buy wants with, not needs.
January is going to be a chaotic month, adjusting to a new home and a new job, and the possibility of limited internet access, so I’m going to hold my monthly goal steady at $400.
