Hi, Sarah - We have high-speed AT&T ($34/mo which is tax deductible because of my freelance/blogging work). We're also able to connect our Xbox to the internet through XBox live ($40/year) and stream NetFlix ($9/mo) in place of cable.

If you tally it all up, we get internet plus movies/TV on DVD for $46.33/mo.

What do you do for internet access at home? We would get rid of our tv, but it's practically free once we pay for internet. It's something like $60 for internet, but once we add tv, we get a multi-product discount and pay $70 for both.

I'm hoping you're going to tell me about a newer, better, cheaper internet alternative...
