I watched the movie Maxed Out this weekend, and I highly recommend seeing it. Read the synopsis as a teaser and then go out and rent it.

Not only did it include some really interesting financial quotes and facts (did you know that MBNA was the largest contributor to George W. Bush’s second campaign?), there were four very sad personal stories, three of which ended in suicide because of credit card debt. You can watch a clip of the mothers to get a sense of how overwhelming the situation was for the victims.
