MSN is full of crap

I’d like to know where MSN gets their information. Today’s article, 5 Big-Money Majors has undergraduate business majors reporting an average starting salary of $43,523. I have my MBA and work in corporate marketing and I don’t even make that much.

The whole purpose of the average is too take the lowest and highest paid amounts to figure out where the middle is.

LOL.

You might get paid 30K a year but someone else might get paid 60K a year!

Yes, but when you take an average with such extremes aren’t you supposed to throw out the highest and lowest amount THEN calculate the average?
