I attempted to do my taxes this weekend through H&R Block, and it wasn’t pretty. I’m missing some paperwork that I don’t think I am going to receive for various reasons (start up company and an address change) which flustered me. Various tax calculators have me owing approximately $1,000, so I decided it would be best to invest in the help of a professional.
$100 to make sure my taxes are done right and ask all the questions I want seems worth it to me. Next year I will tackle them myself since there won’t be anything to throw me for a loop.
