I feel a great sense of relief today. Of accomplishment. Of a hole being burnt in my pocket. I got my first paycheck from my new employer today! My first paycheck in almost two months.
My check was only for a half of a pay-period, but we can now get back to our tried and true budgeting system and stick to payment dates without putting them off to the last minute to make sure we have enough to cover everything.
I feel like I can exhale now!
