I’m a little nervous about the reception already. I realized things were expensive, just not how quickly they add up.
We’ve already made some decisions to keep costs and chaos down.
We’re ordering annoucements, save the date cards, invitations, and RSVP cards from Fabulous Stationary. Their printing cost is lower than most fancy printers, and they offer a discount for bulk orders.
EDIT: This morning I recruited our coroprate graphic designer to design and print the invites. She does great work, is super nice, and is well within our budget!
We’re shooting for 100 people at the reception, and since we’d really like to make it open bar, we may cut the invites down even farther to facilitate that.
We’re thinking of cupcakes or a small cake for each table instead of a large wedding cake. I’ll even decorate cupcakes if I have to.
Decorations will be courtsey of Hobby Lobby and ProFlowers, and you know I’ll track down a coupon code.
I have no idea how people plan full on weddings.
